The Centre for Global Agreements, Legislation and Trade (GALT) is an area within the Resources and Global Security Division of TERI. The broad objectives of the area are

- to engage in research in the area of trade and sustainable development
from an economic and legal perspective;

- to engage in capacity building through training programmes, workshops,
and seminars;

- to create awareness through an effective dissemination of knowledge and
dialogue amongst policy-makers, academia, practitioners, and other
stakeholders. Based on these objectives, GALT is committed to working on the following issues.
