I am a parasitic plant, which means I live off and Dr Joseph Arnold
another organism. I live entirely in the body
of this vine called Tetrastigma. I have no discovered the first
roots, stem, or leaves but thread-like strands rafflesia in the jungles
of tissue that are set inside the vine. The of Sumatra in 1821–22,
only thing that can be seen outside the vine
are my buds, which become big flowers. which was named
Rafflesia arnoldii.
